Bob Taylor

A footballer who played as a centre forward, Known by supporters as supporters as "Super Bob" or simply "Super" "Super" Bob Taylor has probably forgotten more about the art of goalscoring than most of us ever knew to start with. One of the most successful centre-forwards in Albion's history, with 131 goals for the club, Bob scored goals wherever he went, including stints at Leeds United and Bolton Wanderers.
A natural goalscorer, Bob was also a great leader of the line, a tireless worker for the team and a fine technician, in training and in games. His expertise and experience, drawn from 20 years at the top and more than 200 league goals, makes him an ideal candidate to coach the next generation of super strikers.
He began his professional career at Leeds United, making his debut in 1986 at the age of 19. In 1989 he moved to Bristol City, before joining West Bromwich Albion in 1992. Taylor signed for Bolton Wanderers in 1998 following two successful loans spells at the club, but in 2000 returned to West Bromwich Albion, where he remained for a further three seasons, "Super Bob" remains West Bromwich Albion's eighth highest goalscorer of all-time. He then moved to Cheltenham Town before ending his career at non-league sides Tamworth and Kidderminster Harriers. with more than 250 goals in his professional career.
